Terms of service.
These are the rules of the road for using Deepcast. Written in plain language because legalese is a tax on attention — but they're still a binding agreement between you and Deepcast, Inc.
TL;DR
You own everything you create. We won't train on your data. You pay for your plan. You behave reasonably. If we screw up, our liability is capped at what you paid us. If you have a problem, email us first.
01Agreement
By accessing or using Deepcast, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you're using Deepcast on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into this agreement. If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the service.
02The service
Deepcast provides a B2B content intelligence platform including, but not limited to: Company Brain, competitor research tools, content calendars, brief generators, voice training, and content analytics. The exact set of features available to you depends on your subscription plan.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We won't remove material features from paid plans without offering you a full refund of your current billing period.
03Account
To use Deepcast, you create an account using your real name, your work email, and a password — or a supported SSO provider. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including all activity by team members you invite. Keep your credentials secure.
You may not share accounts, sell access to your workspace, or use one account to serve multiple unaffiliated businesses unless you are on the Agency plan.
04Billing
Deepcast is sold as a monthly or annual subscription. Founding pricing is locked for the lifetime of an active subscription — if you let your subscription lapse and re-subscribe, you'll pay the then-current price. We bill in advance.
- Free 14-day trial: no card required, read-only after expiration
- Upgrades are prorated to the day; downgrades take effect at next cycle
- Annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal
- 7-day money-back guarantee on first paid invoice
05Acceptable use
Don't use Deepcast to spam people, impersonate humans you aren't, reverse-engineer the product, abuse the API, or generate content that depicts a real identifiable person in a defamatory or sexually explicit way without their consent. Don't use the service to violate any applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms. We'll always tell you why, in writing, before taking action unless immediate suspension is required to protect other users.
06Content & IP
Anything you create with Deepcast — research notebooks, voice profiles, calendars, drafts, finished posts — belongs entirely to you. We claim no ownership of any kind. You grant us a narrow, technical license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the product.
Your prompts, drafts, voice profiles, and research are never used to train any AI model — ours, the underlying foundation models, or any third party's.
07Termination
You can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, have unpaid invoices more than 30 days overdue, or that we have good reason to believe are being used fraudulently. We'll give you 30 days written notice to export your data — except where immediate termination is required to protect other users or comply with law.
08Liability
Deepcast is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
